Are you familiar with the phrase "Call To Action"? Many people consider it a very important part of an advertisement. It's the part where you are told to 'act NOW', or you'll miss the opportunity of a lifetime. 'Order NOW' and we'll include two additional pieces of junk, 'absolutely free'.
I don't use a call to action on my sites. I sell products of value and at a reasonable price. I treat my customers with respect. Sure, I don't get all the business. No one does. But I have satisfied customers who give me referrals.
If you have site visitors who don't buy, the problem is probably not with the customer but with the site. What do you say? How do you say it? Does the site communicate everything that needs to be said? Does it leave a positive impression on the site visitor? Does it provide something meaningful that will encourage the site visitor to come back and buy?
