The economic downturn has negatively affected the growth of many giant companies. Though, China based SmartPay Jieyin has managed a growth with innovations.

SmartPay has become one of the leading third-payment companies in China through its close collaboration with banks and telecom operators. The company has offered payment systems for both mobile and landline operators. With demand from customers and merchants, SmartPay also established various other payment options including online payment and SMS payment.

SmartPay launched SZX payment in April 2008, which enabled customers to carry out payments for virtual goods including the online games offered by Moliyo. It enhanced its Money Transfer platform with China Unicom and dealers have been offered the option of transferring funds to China Unicom’s account through an SMS. Also, Mobile B2B, offered by the company later in the year, has enabled the merchants to manage receivables from channels and dealers from different locations.At the end of the year, SmartPay recorded a gross profit seven times higher than that of the previous year.
