Liberty Reserve got back online. Indeed that may seem to be a good news as we reported yesterday. However, there are still many problems to be solved. Actually i might say, there is a new update on the official blog of Liberty Reserve saying exactly the following:

"During this final stage of maintenance we are identifying erroneously blocked accounts and updating their statuses to "normal". This is a long and tedious process so your patience is appreciated. While we are doing everything possible to bring the system back faster, these processes make take an additional up to 2-4 days to complete."

To tell the truth i don't know exactly what the staff of Liberty Reserve was doing within the entire week of maintenance. The only thing they did is returned the site online. Still, while the site is online it can make things much worse for the customers. The thing is that now nearly all Liberty Reserve accounts are setup to accept funds though one cannot cash the money out from the account by no means. No transaction, no exchange is possible, which basically locks up the customers with operating the payment system.

The support is highly ineffective. Live Chat staff always forwards the clients to LR business department, which remains not helpful at all. the only reply is the notification that e-mail has been received and one will be replied within 48 hours.

So, what can we say - troubles remain and moreover people are getting more and more frustrated. Liberty Reserve is rapidly losing its reputation and frankly everyone is seek and tired of the level of communication and continuous troubles, which affect the account security. Looks like if the things don't change in the future the Liberty Reserve authorities risk to lose the majority of clients, who are ready to move to numerous alternative exchangers: SolidTrustPay, Payza, EgoPay and others.
