The Danish cryptocurrency exchange (CCEDK) has issued the Bitcoin debit card called NanoCard. It can be used for storing and spending virtual money in different parts of the world. The clients of the stock exchange are eligible to get the card starting from July 13. NanoCard apart from storing Bitcoins is also eligible for storing USD. The account balance can be shown in Euros and Pounds.
"CCEDK has entered into a partnership with Bit-x as a forex partner, and through this partnership, we have been able to introduce Bitcoin Debit NanoCard issued by MasterCard... Currently limited to bitcoin, we are looking forward to add other cryptocurrencies as support to the card and it would be great to introduce the first fiat pegged crypto debit NanoCard with cryptos like bitUSD and Nubits which are not pegged to BTC but to USD...", says Ronny Boesing the CEO of CCEDK in his interview to NewsBTC news service.
Customers won't have to pass the authentication process for processing routine transactions. Despite the fact it can affect the funds safety, CCEDK has made agreement with the software developer Blockchain Cryptonomex with the purpose of securing cryptocurrency transactions.
Mr. Boesing also noted during the process of implementation of the NanoCard the main advantage of the cryptocurrencies have been linked with world's famous credit cards. Such a technology mixture makes NanoCard really amazing.
