After the period of record highs, the average btc prices on world exchanges fell by about $150 at the beginning of trading on August 22. In the morning bitcoin traded at the level of $3870 - at the minimum level observed from the middle of April, when the price reached $ 3,892.
Now, some traders say that the sharp growth of bitcoin prices, which led to the increase in the value of the digital asset to 350% this year, may have been the peak.
The BTC VIX company, the founder of the crypto currency trading group Whale Club, noted that it is losing confidence in the sharp growth. In particular, it points to the fact that bitcoin prices fell below $4000 dollars four times after overcoming of the bar for the first time, which indicates that in the short term the market does not look forward to the prices to be rising.
Other market observers predict that bitcoin can stabilize around $4000.
This opinion was put forward by Mike Kayamori, general director of the Japanese bitcoin of the Quoine exchange, who saw a sign of consolidation in the fall (below $4000), if not cause for alarm.
Like many analysts, he believes that bitcoin is likely to trade in a range that outstrips possible changes in its underlying technology, although such changes are anticipated in November.
