The hardfork of the Litecoin Cash crypto currency has finally took place in the Litecoin global network. The team behind the fork has promised users to submit a wallet release for the newest crypto currency within 24 hours. It is also noted that when running Litecoin Cash, the Proof-of-Work method will be used, the network security of which is provided by the SHA256 method. And Litecoin Cash will give an opportunity to use it effectively further.

In addition, if an average of 10 minutes is required to create new blocks in a global web-based Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash network, then in the case of Litecoin Cash this figure will be approximately 2.5 minutes, which should provide no less rapid confirmation of transactions. The new fork supports the protocols SegWit and Lightning Network. The creators announced that after the fork, all Litecoin holders will be able to get Litecoin Cash in a one-to-one ratio.
