A new executive vice president was recently announced at the worldwide money transfer service company Western Union. Ranjana B. Clark will occupy the seat of the executive vice president, Global Payments and Global Strategy. She replaces Royal Cole who will be assisting in the transition of the Payments business and completion of several strategic development projects before he resigns from the company in the following few months.
Prior to coming to Western Union Clark held several positions at Wells Fargo, Wachovia and Deutsche Bank. At Wachovia she served as the Chief Marketing Officer. Besides during her almost 20 years at Wells Fargo and Wachovia she also held positions of head of the Treasury Services Division, head of Strategic Planning and head of Capital Markets Strategic Development.
Clark will assume her responsibilities in late March and will joint the company as a member of the executive committee, reporting to Christina A. Gold, president and chief executive officer of The Western Union Company. Her office will be based in Englewood, Colorado.
