First of all, I want to extend my heartfelt prayers and wellwishes to Kelbel, owner of MFC, Peace and Love, and other well known GPT sites. What a wonderful person! I am just reading of the news today of her sale...I have seen hints of it, but not seen any reasoning behind it until a few minutes ago. I just want to say that professionally she will be missed by so many of us, and personally...I hope to stay in touch with a great, courageous person.
Secondly, I, also, am taking a backseat on Cupid. Nadia will be trained to add/approve your offers, as I am having some pretty severe ups and downs in my health as well, and will be checking into the hospital in the morning. I will NEVER leave, nor sell Cupid, as I have told you before. The difference here will be that Nadia will have more control over the day to day runnings of the site and may be answering emails on my behalf as may be Teesa. I want to make sure all of you are OK with this, and if not, please email in and let us know. Most of you have been here so long and feel as if Nadia and Teesa are second nature to Cupid as well...but for those of you unsure, let me know. I want to reiterate, I WILL NOT BE LEAVING. There are times it is very hard for me to say, open your presents on the site pages (as this involves quite a bit of trickery lol), or respond to posts on the forum. This way, my absence will not cause worry as it does now, rather my rather LOUD presence will be a surprise :)
I will be spending as much as I can today training Nadia, and answering what emails I can. I will probably not be stopping in the forum. It's not cause I'm not thinking of you guys, cause I am....I just have to prioritize first. Once I get settled in, I will come and talk to all of you. I am NOT abandoning you...I'm just temporarily stepping back. I just can't say that enough. I still own cupid, and will still be behind everything going on (so remember Santa Claus is watching and you behave). I feel sad to even have to write you at all....and certainly hate to do so after a previous site's selling.
Nadia, Teesa, or I will keep you in the loop at all times, ALL times. If things worsen to the point where I can no longer maintain Cupid, we'll discuss it then, like we always have. You are Cupid, not me, not Nadia, and not Teesa...YOU.
